About Brisbane Southside Networking
In July 2019 Susan Howard established Brisbane Southside Networking at The Glen in Eight Mile Plains to give small business and professional the opportunity to mix and mingle and make lasting connections.
In 2020 BSN is collaborating with Local Biz to enable growth and to provide further opportunities for small businesses and professionals.
Local Biz Networking Groups was first established in 2017. Michael Drakos is a Relationship Manager - Business Specialist with Quill Group Accounting
Susan Howard is a Financial Advice Specialist.
Currently working with Quill Group Financial Planning where she works as a Relationship Manager.
At Quill Group the majority of Susan’s clients are small business and professionals who are getting their financial house in order to enable them to concentrate on reaching their potential.
On the weekends Susan volunteers with Support The Girls Australia which is a unique charity that provides a grassroots framework of action to empower women to escape the cycle of poverty, violence, trauma or multiple structural oppressions.
Susan is a solo mum to two Sons – Sam 21 and Alex 17 who keep her in touch with the millennial’s way of thinking.
Susan’s driving force is to empower and educate in the area of Financial Advice, so everyone has the opportunity to make better financial decisions.

Location: The BSN Local Biz Group meeting is held at the Glen Hotel Eight Mile Plains. The Glen Hotel is located on the Southside, just 250m from Brisbane Technology Park & 15k from Brisbane CBD. We meet in the garden sanctuary area called 'LILY".
The Glen has authentic Neapolitan pizzas, premium-grade steaks, melt in your mouth Wagyu share plates, burgers or freshly shucked oysters, our menu offers a variety of items that reflect the best of seasonal Australian produce
